Save Electricity & Water
We have equipped all light fixtures and lamps in the Hotel Ochsen with energy-saving LED. When purchasing new machines, we always pay attention to the highest possible energy and water savings of the devices. Our electricity supplier, EGT Triberg, supplies us with 100% certified green electricity.
Heat provide sustainably
We heat with environmentally friendly natural gas, as well as combined heat and power (block-type thermal power station), which also provides us with clean electricity for our house. Heat recovery from refrigeration systems for hot water production.
Food regional design
The ingredients we use in the restaurant come - wherever possible - from quality farms in the region. Sourcing food regionally is not just about promoting the local economy. It saves diesel and petrol through short distances, puts less strain on the roads and protects the climate.
