Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website of Hotel zum Ochsen GmbH & Co. KG published at ochsen.com.
General Description of the Service
The Hotel zum Ochsen GmbH & Co. KG website allows users to learn about products and services, get in touch, and place orders or make reservations directly online.
Applicable Legal Requirements
Digital services are subject to the requirements set forth in Section 14 of the Act on Strengthening Accessibility (BFSG), in conjunction with Section 3(1) of the BFSG, as well as the Regulation Implementing the BFSG (BFSGV).
Implementation of Accessibility Requirements
This assessment is based on a self-evaluation using the accessibility tool from AccessGO.
Based on this review, the website is partially accessible according to the requirements mentioned above.
Specifically, the following points are not fully compliant with the accessibility regulations that apply to us:
We would also like to point out the following:
The DIRS21 booking form is beyond our control and cannot apply accessibility settings from our other pages.
Furthermore, offering support for English and French is not economically justifiable given the small proportion of bookings in those languages.
Planned approach to addressing the barriers mentioned:
Removing these barriers is not economically feasible.
Note on PDF files:
Some of the PDF documents provided on the website (e.g., user manuals, declarations of conformity, energy labels, certificates) are not currently fully accessible.
Some of these files have structural and technical limitations—including missing heading structures, undefined reading orders, missing alternative text for graphic content, or untagged tables. As a result, they are only partially accessible using assistive technologies.
At this time, for organizational and financial reasons, we are unable to make all existing PDF documents fully accessible. However, we are committed to publishing new documents in an accessible format—to the extent possible—in the future.
If you need a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with a customized accessible version, to the best of our ability.

To carry out the responsibilities outlined in the Act on Strengthening Accessibility, the states are currently establishing a joint agency. The State Market Surveillance Agency for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is set to begin operations as a new public-law institution in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital of Magdeburg. This is contingent upon the ratification by all federal states of the State Treaty on the Performance of Tasks under the Act to Strengthen Accessibility (BFSG). All federal states are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.
