The State Market Surveillance Agency for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is set to begin operations as a new public-law institution in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital of Magdeburg. This is contingent upon the ratification by all federal states of the State Treaty on the Performance of Tasks under the Act to Strengthen Accessibility (BFSG). All federal states are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.
